Sophie has taught in primary schools for over 20 years and is passionate about getting children (and adults) to enjoy singing! She has worked on various Bristol music projects including a singing initiative with the cathedral choristers and more recently has directed school musicals. She has used singing to successfully support vulnerable children at risk of permanent exclusion and is always amazed at how powerful music can be to empower individuals. Sophie joined Handfuls of Harmony in January 2017 and loves working alongside the talented and brilliant children in South Bristol to enable every child to sing with enthusiasm and energy. Sophie loves camping, exploring the stunning English countryside and going on adventures with her husband and two young children.
